Please read the email from my friend below. It is just another example of the horrible treatment these animals are suffering at the hands of humans. Not only will this pup be in pain from his wound, but since he was surrendered by his owners, most likely, he will be drug into the room where they jab a needle into his heart to cause a heart attack. No sedation will be used.
So, we have a dog that has been mistreated, neglected and now will be tortured. This hell on earth for animals in Springfield doesn’t care because they know they are going to kill him anyway. They care so little about animals that there is no way they are going to seek justice for his treatment by previous owners.
Why am I sending out this email? To remind all of you that even though we don’t have a magical answer about Springfield, we must be reminded of their horrific treatment of animals.

Here’s another picture for proof of inhumane treatment and not seeking vet care for the animals that need it in the Springfield, MO animal control.
This dog has an open wound (maybe road rash?) on his head that could easily get infected if not treated. Pictures clearly show it.
And this dog it says was turned in by its owners apparently. Well, the owners should be charged with animal cruelty for nearly starving this dog to death! Is law enforcement getting involved in this situation? Did the shelter contact the authorities on this? I doubt it.
Hoping this evidence will help in some small way.
